Sango developed the fourth artist collection (AC4) with Alex Kato. When people in the creative community hear his name, they don’t associate it with just one skillset or category. It’s a name that is connected to good spiritual energy and a master of many passions. Kato is a clothing designer, stylist, DJ, music producer, and a previous professional yoyoer.
If you know Kato’s rotation of outerwear, you’ll find several denim jackets. Since Kato and Kai (Founder of Sango) are both Japanese American, it was a natural inclination to use authentic high quality selvedge Japanese denim, finished with a smooth satin silk lining adorned with a Japanese Katazome pattern. The measurements and details of this jacket were meticulously curated to sit on your body perfectly and elevate any style profile, drawing inspiration from the classic 90’s style trucker jacket. The jacket is presented raw & unwashed, as it is meant to collect your battle scars & tell your stories the more you wear it. Wear aggressively, wash sparingly.
